Appendix D. ZONING PROCEDURES AND STANDARDS ORDINANCE

§ 1-5.1. Initiating applications for amendment.

Amendments to this ordinance, the zoning ordinance and/or zoning map must be initiated by either the mayor and council, the Commission, or sixty (60) percent of the property owners owning not less than sixty (60) percent of the total affected lands. The interest of a property owner may be represented by a person holding a written power-of-attorney for the property owner. Consideration for conditional use permits must be initiated by the property owner or any person holding written power-of-attorney for the property owner(s).
