§ 1-7.6. Procedure for public remarks.

  • The Chairman may alternate the presentation of persons speaking in favor or in opposition to the proposed zoning amendment or conditional use beginning with the presentation of the proponent or his/her attorney at law or in fact, or the Chairman may divide such presentation into blocks of time beginning with the proponents of the proposed zoning amendment or conditional use and moving thereafter to the presentation of the opponents of the proposed zoning amendment. Further, the Chairman may direct that the proponents and opponents designate one or more spokesperson(s) for the presentation of views on a proposed zoning amendment or conditional use. The Chairman may poll the public assemblage at the hearing concerning the concurrence and/or opposition with remarks of any person addressing the Commission at the public hearing.
