§ 1-7.8. Rebuttal.

  • Upon conclusion of the presentation of persons opposing the proposed zoning amendment or conditional use, the Chairman shall offer the proponent of the zoning amendment or proponent's designee a specified amount of time to address the Commission in rebuttal of any issue raised by persons addressing the Commission in opposition to the proposed zoning amendment or conditional use. The Chairman shall rule out of order any new issue raised in rebuttal unless deemed useful to the Commission in evaluating the merits of the proposed zoning amendment or conditional use. If a new issue is allowed to be raised by rebuttal then persons opposing the proposed zoning amendment shall be allotted an equal amount of time through one or more spokesperson(s) to address the new issue(s).
